Bogus' Call of Chaos III WIP

Greetings Brothers,

Initially I've fallen behind with getting started on my project, but now things are underway smoothly. I have since finished assembly the traitors for my pledge, and have primed the first squad of berzerkers. I will include more photos later, since my camera died shortly after taking a few of the first test model for my color scheme I'm going to use.

Sorry for the fuzzy quality, I will try to tighten up the image in the next update I make. I am going for a simple approach for this branch of my forces with a simple color scheme and a table-top quality paint job. Each unit will have the embossed shoulder pad done in a simple metallic for easy table top identification, since these guys are slated to join my Apocalypse ambitions!

C&C always welcome!

I like the dark red of the paint job, it's very bold. It's just... the pose. The pose doesn't really say 'psychotic-blood covered-bio-engineered killing machine' to me. It strikes me as more of a... 'hokey pokey'.

I agree with you there. The pose on some of them turned out to be less than desirable. But then, I've only had that particular issue with that particular pose of the legs.

Anyone out there had more luck with posing those particular berzerker legs?

Also, thanks for the compliment!

Why don't you check out my albums? I didn't have much of a problem. Or if you see something let me know!

The pic is a little fuzzy so it's hard to make out the details but it looks pretty good so far.

Not trying to steal your thunder here, but here's a few ideas. Granted, they use bits from the CSM box and a few older metal parts, but you'll get the general idea:

It may be the angle the photo was taken as well but to me he looks like he's cocking his leg like a dog ^_^

Hehe " I pee on you, Then I kill you" :D

Yeah, that's what my wife said.

@Skyzerker: I like the poses you used with those same legs, but I think that is a more situational solution. I've already built my havocs with with "sturdy, grounded" legs. I also think that would be repetitive to have every fourth guy striking the Captain Morgan pose. But it's a good idea, and I still may use it in the future.

Greetings,

Thanks to everyone who has tried to help by commenting so far. That is much appreciated. I'm approximately halfway finished with the first squad of eight, sans backpacks. By keeping the pallet simple and uncomplicated, I've been making a lot of progress with the unit.

Hopefully, this round of photos has turned out better. I may just have to get my wife to photograph these guys if I cannot learn how to use the camera myself.

First up, the Irish jig dancing, big dog:

Second, his cousin:

And some rear shots:

Let me know what you think.
