DaPheel Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 Another one of my w.i.p. - a Land Raider Ares (insert pretentious name). I've got a sgt. Chronus model unbuilt and i was contemplating converting him to use as a tank commander for the top, as well as some greenstuff scrolling down the L.H.S. of the top and borders on the plates with the statues. What do you peeps think? any other ideas? I've always been dubious about pouring money into a unit that I cannot use without my opponentns permission... and the Ares is one BEAST of a unit. I hope you play with some nice gamers... I really like the use of little statues, very clever and considered the idea stolen. Fantastic, but for a second I thought it was DA and for some reason there was BT on it. The Ares was originally built by the Dark Angels due to heavy losses from street fighting if I remember correctly from the PDF. However there was no rule to say that it must be used by Dark Angels.
