These were a commission job, intended for use as Terminator stand-ins in an all-scout army.

On the heavy weapon model, the heavy weapons and storm bolter are magnetised, so that they can be swapped.

Twin cutting torches count as the Sergeant's powersword.

To see how they were built, check out the WIP thread under the couch.

Great idea and modelling/building! How can you justify the 2+ armor save in these? :jaw:

they catch incoming bullets and knives with those big claws off course! :jaw:

Very, very cool. Really interesting and original idea.

Have you thought of adding panels of some sort around the chest and face? If you could work out a combination of metal looking panels and transparent panels it would certainly help to justify a better save.

More importantly, it would look really cool.

That would be the built-in energy field, originally used to protect the wearer from reactor wash.

Or something. :P

3+ save for being armoured more than scouts.

An additional +1 for being blatently awesome.

I like that explanation, too... :)

I agree with everyone here in how awesome these are.

My only recommendation is to put improvised armor pieces over areas not already covered by armor (legs mostly). To fit in with the lightness of these being scouts, I wouldn't make the armor very thick so maybe just some knee plates rather than full on leg armor. Keep up the awesome work.

P.S. Very nice greenstuff work you got there. I'm always impressed on what people can do with two part putty (seeing as how I tend to fail epically with the stuff).
