Recommended Posts

If I keep this updated I figure it will be good motivation for me to keep going with this project without distraction - so here goes nothing, C&C appreciated guys.

This little fella was made entirely from spare parts in my bits box (everything is blu tack'd to ensure easy access when painting).

The whole idea is that he is displaying that his mighty power fist can be used out of close combat, as he is using it to brace his weapon as he fires it (due to the lack of the other hand which would usually hold the gun steady). If I'm entirely honest I don't really like this mini as stands - I think I might swap both arms out for something different (twin linked lightning claws anyone?)

Who knows - comments appreciated.

Peace, BC

I think it would look more natural if you rotated the powerfist so that the bolter was braced across the back. On the other hand, if you're feeling adventurous, you could cut off the thumb and sculpt a new, upright thumb, so that it looks like the marine is resting his bolter in the corner of his PF's thumb and fingers.

it'd be very natural, if you opened the fingers of the powerfist and re-model them gripping the gun as normal... it'd be really hard to do, but it'd look cool.
