Kikunosuke Posted May 2, 2009 Share Posted May 2, 2009 Nice bit of plasticard work. Definitely Kharny. But the pose is a bit lacking somehow...I would picture him raising his power axe higher. And more of a pet peeve of mine, I find the right Berzerker arm mismatching the normal CSM left arm but again it's my peeve. Planning to splatter that armour with generous amounts of blood? L0NEW0LF Posted May 3, 2009 Author Share Posted May 3, 2009 well first up thanks for the comments guys :( i tried to keep the pose similar to the picture and i didnt really want to start cutting and greenstuffing (i HATE greenstuff) the reason i chose a power axe over a chainaxe is, throughout the horus heresy series the constant them seems to be captians and such are equiped with power weapons so i decided since Khârn was captain of the 8th company he was deserving of one. since it's pre-heresy he wouldnt have been given GORECHILD yet either. It was around pre-heresy, but i suppose its up to you if this is him before he got it. Personally i would go with Gorechild because its such a huge part of Khârn, and i personally find the plastic poweraxe to be a bit underwhelming and not do him justice. That was kind of like when the guy asked Bill Murray about the weather.... Anyway, awesome conversion. Really like the idea and the model. The subtle transitions in color make me a little jealous.
