ive revised the fluff. let me know what you think

Following the death of the Emperor, Rogal Dorn became a vengeful crusader who led the Imperial Fists on a great crusade to cleanse themselves of their failure. This crusade culminated with the battle of the Iron Cage in which the Imperial Fists suffered heavy losses but with the help of the Ultramarines the Imperial Fists were victorious and drove the Iron Warriors from the planet of Sebastus IV. Dorn agreed to the restructuring of his legion but not before dispatching his 11th company under the command of Captain Nicodemus Faust to hunt down the Iron warriors who had fled Sebastus IV. Pursuing their quarry into the Eye of Terror the 11th company arrives at an unknown industrial world which had been drawn into the warp.

Entering orbit of the planet Faust was forced to order a planetary drop of all personnel as the battle barge Imperial Hammer came under fire from three traitor ships. Upon making planet fall the company discovered that the world’s population were enslaved to the Iron Warriors but had in the majority remained loyal to the Emperor. Due to limited resources the 11th company waged a guerilla war over the next 7 years scavenging repairs for there amour from there fallen foes. The war culminated when the main Iron warrior’s fortress was besieged by an army of revolting slaves aided by the main forces that remained of the 11th company.

Faust did not lead the assault though, for along with his most trusted and skilled brethren he infiltrated the fortress and sought to cut the head from the snake. Upon entering the citadel Faust came upon the foe he had pursued for the better part of a decade. Warsmith Achlys the butcher, the two warriors entered into a glorious battle that ended when Faust cut down his foe and took his head as his trophy with the intent of presenting it to Dorn. It took a further 4 years for the company to find its way out of the warp using the ships captured from the fallen Iron Warriors.

Outside the Eye of Terror the passing of the years had wrought many changes upon the galaxy. The legions no longer existed and the imperium was ravaged by war. When a fleet of ships emerged from the Eye of Terror hailing codes identifying themselves as Imperial Fists, Dorn sent an emissary to investigate. Upon presenting Dorn with the head of Achlys and learning that the place of the honored 11th company no longer existed within the Imperial Fists chapter Faust along with the remains of his company became an independent chapter naming themselves as the Siege Lords and in honor of their primarch they adopted his colors of copper and gold. Dorn gifted his sword to Faust and it has been the Chapter Masters symbol of office for 10,000 years.

The chapter returned to Sebastus IV and claimed it as its home world rebuilding the Eternal Fortress with the skill only the sons of Dorn could posses. The chapter specializes in siege warfare and its fleet is currently in campaign reinforcing Imperial worlds against the Tau expansion.

thats cool, but its a spit in the space wolves face.... same thing basicly for them, except they didnt find and kill who they where looking for, there still in there many many many years later...

guerilla tactics isnt really the IF way of doing things, there the unmovable defenders of mankind.

finaly thing is it wouldnt be so easy to just punch in code's saying that there IF, at least not if they had been gone for any lenght of time. code's like that get changed and often, not to mention that anything comming out of the eye is going to have more guns fireing at it then you would know what to do with. Shoot first ask questions later, there not taking any chance's. though you could probably get away with saying that they were engaged in ship to ship battle (and probably remained passive defence) and it just so happened that other IF force's where there at the time, and where engageing them, untill they recognized them as there own.

possibly
