Sersi Posted May 18, 2009 Share Posted May 18, 2009 Oh...these are gorgeous. I really like the use of the Pegasus wings but your wallet must have go into cardiac arrest at the cost of those bits. I am totally stealing those wing poses. I have a dozen or so models with boringly posed Pegasus wings in my daemon army. I particularly like colors on the sanguinary high priest, is that bone? I've never been in to Blood Angels, most of the models I've seen painted up are just to bright. Bonus points for not including Dante or including badly painted metallic gold. I'm not to fond of the wings on the banner bearer though, they seem off compared to the sized and details of the others. The Libby is top, I like every thing about him, but the force axe puts over in my book. Nice use of the living saint model and daemonette bits. I really like the use of the Wyches thorn whip for the tail. Really nice work on the Abbon as well. The blast hole in the space marine helmet on the base shown allot of attention to detail. daboarder Posted May 18, 2009 Author Share Posted May 18, 2009 cheers for the comments guys im just writing to let you know ill update this later today with a comprehensive list of the bits i used and how i aquired them at the time. i will however answer some questions quickly. the katana' are from the inquisitor range's eldar ranger i was able to bits order 2 arms back in the day. the banners, well the DC one is from the bretonian standard bearer blister, however its had various aspects added or removed. the honour guard one is dunh dunh duuuh..... the ultramarines chapter banner, it has suprisingly little ultramarine iconography on it so its very esy to use for whatever you want oh yeah! both my priest are indeed in bone, mostly because painting whit is a PAIN. and captain lukas good luck with you character but the funny thing is i used them for the same refrence you are after, go skilgannon, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
