Thank you once again guys. You really are great!

Another crappy photo I'm afraid. This time it's my 25th anniversary sgt conversion.

Cheers guys,

I finished this at last...

Very much looking forward to the forge world open day tomorrow, Lets see what book 3 brings :)

Had a nice couple of days browsing over the latest book. I won't be adding much to the army but Sigismund will definitely be making a appearing and my command squad look like they will become a unit of Templar brethren.

I cracked the weathering powders out this morning and did a little to each tank to mesh them all together, I also did the same to the contemptors. I'm a lot happier with them now.

My plan is to just add a couple of new bits as and when they come out. I'm very much looking forward to the weekender in May. Who knows we might even see Sigismund, he's on the cover of the ticket after all ;)

There should be a direct link from here to that post someone started about why IF's started getting a bit more popular.

This... right here in this thread, is why I've taken to IF's.  Dirty yellow somehow works - must be all those JCB's ingrained into us :)

Got treads?  Got Kheres?

Thanks for the huge response guys, really appreciate it,

Just noticed your wallet in the pic above with the typhons...looks a lil deflated haha...

Seriously nice work on that armour! Makes me wanna start an imperial fists force now!

Lovely stuff mate!

Lol, thanks mate. Glad you really like them. I've certainly spent a lot over a long period of time but I think it's worth it, love all the models and how the army is turning out.

Glad I've inspired you. I certainly started the army a long time ago but I won't take full credit for the rise of the Imperial Fists, there are more than a few great Fist armies out there.

JCBs & dirty skips. It just works well.

A great collection you've made for yourself - so should be rightly proud Shaw!

I'm sure that the coming of Extermination will boost your apettite for dirtied yellow even further! :D

Thanks mate, I will definitely be adding some things, Sigismund for sure & maybe a few other little bits. Nothing major as I've already got most of what I want for this heresy army...

Awesome stuff!

A shame that I only can see a few of them thanks to Photobucket. :/

I was wondering if you could tell me how you do your yellow, since I want to make a duel with my Contemptor vs a Marine and I thought IF would like nice, and your IF fit the way I paint my DG perfectly. :)

Packe. If you head back 10 pages or so I have posted a guide on painting my fists, it involves a airbrush & hairspray. Glad you like what you see, I guess the dual will result in one dead Imperial fist....

I have stolen one of my dreadnoughts from my imperial fists to add to my iron warriors (keep your eyes peeled in the next couple of days as he will be appearing soon) but that doesn't mean my imperial fists will miss out as I've upgraded one of the existing contemptors with a new havoc launcher,

At the moment I am mostly working on my iron warriors ( although with the Orks release imminent I might be tempted to add to them ) but I have plans to add several small things to the fists. I need another Templar brethren model, rhino & a chaplain. Hopefully it won't be long before forge world tackle Sigismund so I can add him to the ranks,

I've made a little progress on the army, and a little more on my iron warriors but I have bee distracted by my old flames of aware rarely and am currently painting some more of them.

But I have gone and re done 15 tactical marines, neaten end up both the dreadnought so after the latest addition of the havoc launcher. The fit in better together now.

I have also added another member to the command squad as I think il be using them as Templar brethren which need 5 men, so here is a wip shot of him,

Il get some pictures up of the other things I've mentioned early next week,

Cheers.

It's been a loooong time since I last added anything to the army. But with the slew of forge world releases I couldn't resist adding some bits & bobs.

First up Sigismund!

He actually arrived over a week ago as I had pre ordered him at the warhammer world open day.

I wasn't a fan of the pose so I've set about converting him,

I picked up a set of Templar brethren for the sole purpose of using one of the helmets.

And in the last couple of days I've started putting him back together again,

And here he is next to some soon to be mechanicum allies.

Hope you like him so far.

Cheers!
