Ok, well since this was asked in my thread this is my paint guide to my pale skin presented on my servitors. This is a pretty rough way of doing it, more of an easy route to what i may usually do when i glaze, but its great for painting numbers (excuse some of the bad pictures).

1.) First of all you need to basecoat the skin with Deneb Stone, one of the new foundation paints (ignore my mold lines).

2.) Now mixing Deneb Stone with Skull White in a 1:1 Ratio and start painting the raised areas, leaving the basecoat in the deepest crevices.

3.) Next you paint on a mixture of 1:2 Deneb Stone and Skull White and concentrate on the slightly more raised areas, leaving some of the last coat still showing underneath.

5.) Finally you do another highlight, this time using 1:4 Deneb Stone and Skull White, highlighting the raised areas again and leaving some of the last coat still showing underneath.

6.) Now we give it that purple 'dead' look, to do this you mix 2:1:1, 2 parts Shadow Grey, 1 part Liche Purple and 1 part Scab Red, mix it together. Now on a seperate part get a pinch of that mixture and mix as 1:1:1, 1 part of the mixture, 1 part Gloss Varnish and 1 part water. Carefully pick out the crevices and details and paint them, if you want it slightly darker then you need to do several layers.

7.) And for the final step you highlight with pure skull white, making sure to pick out the raised areas only in fine detail.

Enjoy.
