Havent played many games with the daemons, but here's two lists i wrote up since im stuck here in afghanistan, both 2000pts. Herald of Khorne, Iron Hide, Unholy might-100pts 15 Bloodletters, Fury, Icon, Instrument-280 Herald of Tzeentch, Bolt, Legion, Mastery-95 15 Pink horrors, bolt, icon, instrument-295 Herald of Nurgle, Noxious, Breath, Might-115 15 Plaguebearers, Noxious, Icon, Instrument-265 Herald of Slaanesh, Might-60 15 Daemonettes, Icon, Instrument-240 5 Bloodcrushers-200 Daemon Prince, Hide, Might, Khorne-145 Daemon Prince, Hide, Might, Nurgle, Flies, Noxious, Breath-205 and.... Great Unclean One, Flies, Breath, Might-210 Bloodthirster, Blessing, Might-275 15 Bloodletters, Icon, Instrument-270 15 Daemonettes, Icon-235 5 Flamers-175 5 Bloodcrushers, Fury, Icon, Instrument-240 Skulltaker, Juggernaut-175 2 Daemon Princes, Hide, Instrument, Might, Nurgle, Flies, Noxious, Breath-420 The second is more for planetstrike. Ntin Posted October 10, 2009 Share Posted October 10, 2009 I am guessing these are both 1500 points? You only need two icons in your list one for each of the Daemon Assault groups. Heralds on their respective mounts or chariots are the way to go, it improves their toughness, gives an armor save, and adds wounds. Your first list may have issues deep striking so many large daemon groups. Your second list lacks any shooting and in a smaller game double Greater Daemons is too much of a point sink. The major issue in both list is it lacks ranged support you can get from Tzeentch Heralds or Daemon Princes or Soul Grinders. In either case your list can be gunned down pretty easy as your opponent does not have to worry about return firepower. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
