Maybe joining the God of Change?

I am looking at building a pure Tzeentch Daemon army.

How well do they play?

How good are they to paint and convert?

Are there any must haves or must avoids?

What are the main pros and cons?

Sorry for all the questions but I want to make sure before I buy.

The Tzeen Daemons are now in the shortlist of 4 armies for my next project

Any other advice is welcome.

Thanks in advance

Take a peak at the stickied topics in this forum there is a run down on each unit in the codex. Pure Tzeentch is perhaps the weakest of the mono-god lists so your milage may very.

See I don't know, the more I think about the more I think pure Tzeentch might be pretty good. The sheer amount of shots you can put out, combined with the excellency of flamers and the tank hunting goodness of chariot heralds, could make for a pretty effective army. Take 2-3 soulgrinders or princes as counter-assault units and you're good to go.

First things first, Mono-Tzeentch is challenging. In fact, they're probably the most challenging of all the mono-lists to use.

But once you get them to work, they really work. Flamers are one of my favorite Elites in the game, especiallly when not used as suicide squads. Seekers, while less than ideal in most areas of the field, do a decent job at tank hunting.

I do sort of run Mono-Tzeentch, you know.
