Scáth Posted December 15, 2009 Share Posted December 15, 2009 Hey Folks! I'm the Wargames Director for Warpcon XX which will be held on January 29th - 31st in University College Cork (UCC), Ireland. Along with games galore we have a long list of Special Guests, compared to previous years, planning on attending the convention! As mentioned all the info is on our website but for the wargamers here there will be 2 ranking events for the Irish European Team Championship (ETC) Team, both Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40k. There will also be Bloodbowl/Dungeonbowl, Battletech, Historical Wargames (which unfortunately is full now although there might be a few drop-outs on the day) and a variety of demonstration wargames over the weekend. Just to go to the convention and experience the weekend, tickets are €20 for a weekend pass and if you want to take part in one of our wargames competitions it'll be an extra €10 for the weekend, so all in all €30! All profits made by Warpcon is donated to charity every year! Passes will be available on the day but for the frist time ever we have a pre booking system set up online, accessible from our website!
