Iron Snakes Chapter Symbol

Hi guys,

 

I've just started up an Iron Snakes battle force and needed to find a uniform way of painting up the chapter symbol, I've tried to do one in GS but found it difficult to produce a uniform badge, so decided on coming up with a freehand solution. This is pretty basic but will do for standard marines. I've drawn it up in PS because I've not got around to undercoating any of the snakes yet, but I'll post images as soon as I have some.

 

Apologies but I've combined all of the steps into one image, but it's a simple process, you paint a basic shape in your chosen shade of blue, then draw on three teardrops in white, tidy up the head and tail again with white and add finally add a highlight to give it a more rounded shape.

Thats not bad at all i just started my iron snakes and i was stuck on how to creat freehand version of the symbol but this is amazing!
