And you're right, the DA should be "dark", I could never get my old DA's dark enough though. They were more some "slightly darker green angels". :D Balian. It sounds like a great compliment! @ Frater Uriah - Plasma Pistol is straight up enchanted blue VERY watered down and then adding a little white as you get closer to the light source (plasma coils) - See more on my champion's sidearm. Isiah Posted February 4, 2011 Share Posted February 4, 2011 An example of the great John Blanche's painting and modelling style -- and my favourite of his, the darkly weird Chaos space marines: John was for many years the GWs creative director behind the scenes producing imagery for rulebooks and White Dwarf etc. As you can see from above he had an exceptional take on how marines should be painted -- far different to the 'Eavy Metal look.
