EE: You just keep the good stuff rolling through. Just brilliant stuff.

I do have one thing I didn't like and it's to do with your command squad. I generally don't like miniatures that are not in dynamic poses so while the command squad is painted beautifully, they all appear to be cheering a victory. Perhaps a battle call or victory toast, but I have an inherent dislike for minis that wave their weapons about and especially where they stand still with their arms spread wide wolverine style 9eg one of the Sh terminators with LCs). That unfortunately is the only thing I can pick a fault at and that is entirely personal thing....

...as i was thinking along those lines, you dumpt those superb dynamic action packed and posed RW bikers. Just so brilliant..... Well done and as you can see you are keeping the enthusiasm on the boil....

Excellent work..

I do have one question: The long scroll in the new Strenguard you've done up. Do you have a wire frame on which the GS is worked on or is it just GS? Reason i ask is i have just for the first time delved in to the realms of GS and wonder if such a complex and long shape would stand on it's own strength?

Wow - Really big thanks to all the love for my work. Isiah, Gillyfish, Legio, & Darmor. Didnt think they were THAT good.

@Byran Blaire : On the fairings, I primed them in black, then layered up through graveyard earth, taupsept ochre, desert yellow, bleached bone, Skull white. Keep it thin and reduce area of coverage at each colour change.

There is a bit of wet blending going on in there yes.

@Shadow Guard : Glad to see excitement reflected back from my work! Especially thanks for your honest feelings on the command squad there. I see what your saying about their poses. What I will say is they are mostly the old miniatures i'd already painted poorly a long time ago and just redone them so not changed their 'cheering' poses for nostalgia/ease. I am a bit odd like that and don't really like changing GW's vision of the set lead models too much. My Deathwing command will hopefully be a lot more vibrantly posed not having any 'set vision' already cast in purchasable models!

As for the Sternguard scroll, I didn’t know about frames at the time of building it and believe it or not just hand sculpted them off of the model then held in place with plasticine and other bits! Then applied to the model with superglue! I hated the stuff at first but you do get used to it after a while!

So onto the final biker for a while. A second sergeant (hope he’s not too wavey for you Shadow Guard :) ) And a group shot:

Look Ma! No hands!

:D

Excellent work as always. As others have said your mastery of boney-white is superb, and really comes into its own on the Chaplain and Dread. You should be proud.

Except for that one spot you missed...again.

Jaw droppingly awesome work there. (Hehe I made up a word.)

Love the Watcher, I have wondered why FW hasn't made a series of Watchers carrying various gear to make a mini WYSIWYG. The Watchers themselves do nothing in the game besides take up space.

I don't think I would want to be a Fallen being chased by these guys. These guys looke even more menacing than Black Templar. These guys make the Black Templar look like nuns.

Thanks Neo, Belial, Ragnorok. My army is getting to an exciting stage where its nearly all built and making good tracks through paintwork!

Anyway Librarian:

Question: I believe this has been asked by would you mind sharing your paint selection for these? I have had a DW army for 7 years and decided its time to repaint them and expand with PA and RW, and this is all the inspiration I need. Even though I have been in the hobby for a while, I'm still fairly new to painting(my army was painted as a beginner and never retouched) so I need a little guidance as to what colors to work up from and what techniques would be best to learn.

Anywho, amazing work!

These guys make the Black Templar look like nuns.

So? Nuns are friggin' terrifying man! Re-rolls to wound on attacks with rulers :)

Anyway, your work sir continues to inspire ideas and envy in equal measure. So, congratulations and curses upon you, in equal measure. ;)

Hi Guys - been busy on my drop pod as seen below. Sorry for delay in responses!

@Red_Lep/Puck - The painting of the bone is as follows: Black prime, Graveyard earth, taupset ochre, bleaced bone, then white at the edges of armour. Hope that helps but each layer you simply cover less area of armour and this gives the effect of blended colour!

@Firepower - as always thanks for the compliments to keep me going - i nearly quit on the current posts new pic so - please dont point out mistake :P well you can really.

@Makers - the best? come on....

Anyway, this :) - The first model Ive really hated painting. Its got more sides than you ever realise - surely its damned by chaos!
