erm... I gotta paint that model too, kinda makes me sad that it wont look half as good as this one. Great weathering effect on all the model, especially the missile launcher, I'm a big fan of it.

That forgeworld model is pure win already, but the adding of the other "cloth thing from ravenwing" on the missile launcher is a great idea, I may " borrow" it. (I only fear the cloths will brek one day because its such dry resin... I know it will happen to me, and it is already pissing me off)

Hi all - Moving back into The 2nd to keep things interesting in my small and everso large painting list is my Landspeeder Typhoon - A real treat to paint with sharp contours and intuitive mould lines imo!

@Isiah & EPK - Thank you for your praise - means a lot coming from the keeper of the fortress and a great painter!

@Hugebill - Take the idea with pleasure - just dont be beating my golden deamon entry with it ;)

@Ragnarok - Not really painted differently - I was just experimenting light effects on bone. Still working on that one.

@Stobz - funny you say that, because so do I - one more unit and Ill get the whole lot together for you!

@Tanhausen - not sure what you mean by static when they are all moving???

Anyway here we go:

C&C welcome

The ML parchment is straight like a smurf ;)

...Um, no it isn't. It is flapping forward like mad.

As for the models at hand: DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!!!!!!!!! That is some amazing painting! The gritty nature of the models is astounding. If my models could look exactly like I wanted, they would not be far off at all. It's incredibly impressive. Your Dark Angels look terrifying enough for me to start confessing sins I don't even remember committing! ;)

I'm following this thread for sure.

Thanks for the compliments one and all - im nearly done with squad B too but had a break by painting these guys - Some will recognise them as adapted models from my early foray back into painting 40k in 2009. At the moment they are my Vanguard space marine army crew as don't fit in our codex. I intend to build the squad up a couple members soon.

BTW that is my first finecast chapter master model leading the squad. Note his feathers that match my Deathwing feather markings!
