UltimateJake - Hehe, you go for it, I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with ;)

The 13th Goat - Sure, you can chip in if you want mate, I don't mind - the Death Guard would be better for what i've already written, but I'll let you go wild in the Iron Warriors, just because I can ;)

And nice ideas for the Wolves turning to khorne, might include one or all of them - thanks ;)

And by the way, I'm sticking to my 18(19) legions and their allegiances, so keep that in mind ;)

The Imperial Palace was shattered, the casements rent asunder. Above, the contrails of the heretics' fighter bombers twisted and turned. Millions of armour pieces charged headlong towards the walls, their cannons spitting death. Atop the wall, Horus fought like a berzerker, killing hundreds of loyalist marines, Mortarion and Sanguinius by his side. At the Eternity Gate, Rogal Dorn and Magnus the Red stood back to back, as the first wave of Iron Warriors struck. Deep within the palace, Fulgrim held counsel with his father, discussing tactics. They were not getting far.

The Wolf, resplendant in crimson power armour, festooned with barbaric fetishes, the pelts of slain animals mingling with the skin of slain foes, looked across the battlefield. His breath misted into red clouds, his blade, Khornetooth, by his side. The flickering holo-image of Roboute Guilliman, his face branded with the star of Chaos, moved.

'You know what to do,' said the Ultralord, True Warmaster of Mankind, Hierarch of Terror.

'Aye,' said the Wolf's fanged mouth, his mane of shaggy blonde hair crusted with blood. He drew his blade, the surface of which writhed and squirmed, the Bloodthirster imprisoned there writhing in its torment. He nodded to Bjorn the Red-Handed, who raised his blood-axe, and gave the signal to advance.

The same cry was torn from a thousand wulfen throats as the Wolves were unleahsed upon the Imperium of Man.

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

My take on the Russ Heresy.

Sure, you can chip in if you want mate, I don't mind - the Death Guard would be better for what i've already written, but I'll let you go wild in the Iron Warriors, just because I can :D

Fair enough, i'll do the Warriors first, then move on to Mortarions boys. Just let me know if you want them to have any special relationships with the other Primarch.

I think I've read the history of some Khornate Space Wolves that would beg to differ...

:Draws frostaxe:

Who spreads such heresy? I'll have their heads! Blood for the... er, For the Emperor! :D

Why hide your allegiances? Come and join us, don't lose youself to Khorne alone... Experience the pleasure of Slaanesh... The power of Tzeentch... Ignore Nurgle, he's for cowards...

On topic, I think Dragonkin should start giveing us some more info. Right now we have precious little information; feel free to enlighten us on why Dorn has turned yet Angron has stayed.

Would I be considered if I wrote an alternertive Heresy?, I have had several ideas kicking around since I read the Dornian Heresy months ago, but have never been able to write it down, the side I was thinking of are

Loyalists:

Salamanders

Space Wolves

Thousand Sons

Alpha legion

Blood Angels

Dark Angels (Still split and with Fallen Angels)

Iron Hands

Imperial Fists

White Scars

Traitors

Sons of Horus

Ultramarines

Word bearers

Death Guard

World Eaters

Night Lords

Iron Warriors

The Emperor's children I am not sure of, I like the idea of them being loyalist, but would that overbalence the balence of power to the loyalists? Also I am thinking of having the Emperor defeat Horus, and then Roboute cripples the Emperor, as he turns after the seige of Terra.

I would like to try writing it because as I said its been kicking around, but I don't want to seem like a Bandwagoner.

I wanted to add, that no matter what side of the Atlantic your on or what sport you use in your analogy to bring in your own DIY chapter to the/a Heresy is just bad fluff. It just comes across as cheap. It would only incur an Inquisitorial review of a member to say the least.

No Pity! No Remorse! No Fear!

Personally, my first choice for one of the two Lost Legions would be the Silver Skulls. I'm a bit of a fluff noob when it comes to Space Marines, so excuse me if its known they are NOT one, but they seem suitably Legion-y to me. Also I would personally swap Rogal Dorn and Angron. Dorn's unshakeable resolve seems unlikely to fall to Chaos, whereas I feel Angron would fall for Khorne all too easily, especially alongside Sanguinius.

I read another Alternate Heresy where the Wolves turned and the World Eaters stayed, as the martial honour of the World Eaters remained intact after, on Desh'ea, instead of teleporting Angron off-planet, the Emperor sent his Custodes to aid him. Angron sees this as a sign that the Emperor loves him, or some such, and joins him, making his honour grow, not earn a blemish. The Wolves, however, were brought down by the classic flaw; their anger, shown dearly in our great Ragnar Blackmane as an example.
