Murderfang PiP and Wip continues! this time he's reassembled! and his new base in in progress and doubles as a support structure.

 

on the other side of the ice pillar he is smashing through will be a thousand son getting buried beneath the ice

 

HE RISES, FOR IT WILL NOT DIE.

why does a lone wolf get it will not die, but murderfang doesnt?

Murderfang is done, I might of missed 1-2 tiny details, if I find them I will do a quick touch up. other than that, he's finally done!!

Thanks! it took a lot of scratching my head trying to figure the pose and modeling stuff out. even more with the painting -.-

Space wolf terminator legs, cut and re positioned to make them taller

 

Arms:

 

Wulfen arms

 

Back pack:

 

wulfen power pack, wulfen trophies

 

hammer: 

 

wulfen thunder hammer

 

Pistol:

 

thunderwolf bolt pistol attached to waist band

 

head:

 

Wulfen head with a wolf skull shaved down to fit on it, then epoxy putty sculpted on to make hair

 

Torsoe:

shaved down space wolf belt

terminator front plate

sculpted back plate

 

bones on armor:

bones were taken from the ghoul set gw sells.I cut and bent the bones and glued them in place.

ya, I initially painted the head first and didn't like it. So I just covered the model in a dark wash until I can figure out the head.

 

There is certainly something missing, and I have to figure it out

Just built a stormfang, and converted it to make it look a bit more brutal. I'll post pics this weekend.

 

wanted some thoughts on my use for it.

 

Stromfang, (2x dual bolters, 2x lascannon, helfrost destructor)

transport 6 models

 

( Long fangs 4x Lascannon, 1x leader with combi plas)

( 1x wolf guard battle leader:

loadouts: either

( stormsheild and stormbolter [up[graded to frost fury])

or

( stormsheild and combiplas with [ Helm of Durfast ])

 

- Want to keep a wolfguard battle leader near the longfangs so I can reroll to wound rolls of 1.

- and with that in mind I wanted to make the battle leader a shooty one, so.

- Either Frost fury ( assualt 4, ap-1 dam 2 [roll 4+ add 1 MW])

-or Combi plas with Durfast ( to help mitigate the -1 to hit when firing both profiles[ reroll failed to hit rolls, and targets never gain the benefit of being in cover])

 

so the question is, WHich build should I do for the wolf guard battle leader?

Nice! I look forward to seeing the Stormfang conversion. I really struggle converting aircraft in a way im happy with.

 

As for the battle leader if hes an aura monkey i rarely kit them out hard but I really feel like dufast is hot garbage. If you have to id go with frostfury.
