Great work, my only gripe is the head which I don't particularly like. All the rest is absolutely fantastic. Great detail, love the candles especially.

Mel

I agree with the "lack of love" for the head. I think it looks a bit small tbh, could be wrong (well, more than likely am wrong tbh). Even if he is in terminator armour, it looks like his head is smaller than his fist.

Otherwise; More awesome than Awesome could ever be! Make sure the painters of all the models put them up here (and put a link in this thread) to the finished work.

Thanks to all for the kind words.

The model take a lot of time, but I was pleased with the end results.

@Keyoz Devastrius: Hehehe, the scabbard is very wide, but the blade inside is just right (yeap, you can remove the sword).

An about the head, well, I visualice the primarchs as fantastic characters and change proportions in order to make some details more relevant than others.

I don´t fell the "helenic proportions" accurate to the model.

My vision of the primarchs is far away from human, because they are not humans... they are something else.

Here´s few detail pics:

Awesome powerfist and the massivness of him screams Primarc!

Though i foresome reason se him having a beard or onde of them biker mustashes?

Awesome work ther FF!!

Cheers and salute!

Those models are excellent, and TBH I am inspired by this. I am really interetsed on how you sculpt the hard surfaces - I always have issues in using milliput to sculpt so any tips/tutorials would be most welcome - I used that same cloak method a while back though, and used a similar method to get wood grain into a flat piece by striating the GS using cellophane as a barrier.

Geeez what can ya say!! Dogs licky bits dude. I have to see your sculpts painted, they are amazing. Please post links at some point so we can check out the finished painted article. Dont think the heads too small at all, always loved some of the GW artwork where the armour looks even more immense from the size of the head.

Poss older than I would have imagined myself, but who am I? keep posting! You sir are a genius!

Hi guys!

Thanks for the replies.

I´m working on 2 more Primarchs at this moment, both of them loyalist (read my previous PS to know who is the next one! ).

I will love to work on the traitors, they are much rich to do, because you have two (or three) incarnations, it depends on how you saw it before the fall and after ( or demon form).

Stay tunned... Who knows, maybe a bad guy joins the club !

It looks really like a tough old guy like Clint Eastwood or a Army Veteran from Movies.

I was watching Gran Torino when i made it :tu:

In other terms i managed to finish another commission. This time a Wolf Priest on bike:

I take special attention to the movement effects , in a John Woo style :P.

Detail pics to follow...

Thanks Wayward!

The mud is made from an epoxy cream, ussually used for plumbery work ( like seal leaks).

Here´s an update with detail pcs. The crotch seems a little bit strange without the bike :P .

C&C are welcome as usual.

I am not sure how to put this...but your work is far beyond the best things I have seen when it comes to tabletops and modelling. The details are incredibly worked out, proportions fit in every matter(even on Dorn, just perfect!) and if there´s one thing that screams "WOLVES!" like thousand throats, then it is your Wolf Priest on bike. Bravo Sir, you´re work is astonishing.

So, there is only one thing to say for me: ;)

Snorri

Which suits the IF what with the being siege warriors and all

And freakforge please destroy that model. As only one man has the power to wield it and that is yourself anyone else will find it melts through their hand, possibly harming the mini

Anyway great job

As a Space Wolf player this model really floats my boat!! The movement is amazing ,the mud , the cloak , the necklace, the pose, ... just awesome. The detail is truly mind blowing. Superb work as always. Thanks for sharing your work . Look forward to more.

Hi there!

Thanks a lot to everyone for the replies. Your words give me strengh at the dark times.

Thanks !

@Lykos: The epoxy cream is a local brand called Parsec (quite similar to brow Milliput as far I know).

I just want to share with you the paintjob that Thomas Schadle, eight time GD winner (and mostly know at the forums as Commander Y) made on the Corax´s model !

I really love what he have done with this model, he makes Corax look sinister and dark, and at the same time it´s bright and full of life.

Here´s a gallery of pics of the finished model at Tom´s jobs Facebook account:

I will try to update with more goodies ASAP.
