Hello everyboy!

It´s a have been a while since the last update, the year changes, someones have passed away, and others just get birth.

Everything still messy around here, but I always try to make another step foward.

I will like to thanks to all my friends and clients for their support and understanding.

So, at the middle of a storm of personal life problems, another primarch get done.

At this occasion Lion El Jonson, Primarch of the Dark Angels.

A model that took a lot of time to get done. I mix a lot of things to do this model. First I always found interesting the feral childhood of Lion, and feel that partticular aspect need to be around the miniature... That´s why he have the torn cape and tunic.

The general line sof the armor was inspired on the gothic cathedral around Europe (the generator was made trying to emulate the towers at the Sagrada Familia cathedral).

The skull of the Caliban´s beast as relic-trophy, sided by candles.

And the servitor as altar boys, carriers of the other sacred personal objects of the Lion gives a lordly sense to all group.

I have some troubles with the scale but the model turns out pretty well.

So, I leave to you brothers, some pics of Lion, primarch of the first legion:

Repent! For tomorrow you die!

Surely C&C must stand for Compliments & more Compliments! The gods of Chaos themselves couldn't offer criticisms about these sculpts!!

FF, you make all the GW stuff that you use on your minis look positively bland!

Can't wait to see more and would love to see Horus both before and after he turned to Chaos. That would be seriously badass!

Cheers,

John

Looking good as always, Freak Forge. My only criticism would be that the legs seem a little too short compared to the torso. It might be the angle of the pictures or the way the belt sits on his hips. The inside of the helmet wings look a little plain compared to the details everywhere else though. These are very minor things though and in no way do they detract from the models as a whole. Could you take a picture of him next to a normal marine for a size comparison? I would love to see you make all of the primarchs eventually, especially Alpharius/Omegon. Could I ask if the Primarchs you sculpt are all for customers or yourself? Finally, I would like to thank you for posting your work here, I find it very inspirational and original.

Seriously cool models man, the Lion and Dorn both look great as does the Dantenator. But by far the most inspired is Corax, I never considered the Native American connection but it's absolutely perfect. Almost so much as to make me want to make some Indian-inspired Raven Guard  Your connection through Edgar Allan Poe is just a tad far-fetched though haha, but the rest totally makes sense.

Well done sir!

Wow! I was fast scrolling and came across the hand drawn picture and then continued to scroll to the actually models. At this point I had a mini heart attack. I really like the cobblestone base as well. All around amazing job!

Thanks so much guys for the comments !

Yeah this models give me a lot of troubles about proportions (I have to resize it a couple of times), but I believe that the end result looks fine.

As always say, I pushed some proportions to make the models look a little bit unnatural.

I believe that the only anatomycal correct primarch will be Fulgrim, the rest, just are weird guys with fancy armors , hehehe.

This model it´s a private commissiion, and will be painted by the client.

The model heights about 80mm to the top of the ganerator´s tower-exaust.

Here´s a bunch of close up details pics, some of those pics are from WIP stages.
