Anywho. I started off with a StormTalon and a Dreadknight.

Hmm...it's kinda awkward. The legs are rather thin for the size of the chassis on top, and it looks pretty front-heavy. Buffing up the legs with some armor plating could help the former problem. Moving the chassis back a wee bit could help the balance, but attaching arms at the joints where wings would normally be could do it, and make for a unique silhouette by having the shoulders a good ways behind the waist.

I wager no matter what you do, it will end up looking awkward somehow. But there's a good kinda awkward in Imperial tech, especially when things get more complicated than treads and a box.

Of course this is all working off the presumption that it's gonna be some sorta mecha thingy. You didn't mention exactly what you're making laugh.png

I can see what you're saying Firepower. I looked again and have moved the upper chassis back by 5mm. Do you think it makes it any better? Also the intention was always to bulk the legs up a little. At the point I took the above pics, all I was bothered about was getting the basic leg geometry. In the pics below I have added a bit of armour and a couple extra details to help with that. Also in the 1st 2 pics of this post, you will also notice I altered the direction of the steps on the base. When the ankles poped in to the feet sockets, it just seemed better going down the stair case than up. It should be noted at that point, the legs were pinned to the body, but not glued. And there is NO pinning or glue to the base. So it is balancing on its own. On the last couple pics, I have added the armour and detail to tthe legs. I've also added the missle pods (with some slight modification) from the Missle Defense Platform from ForgeWorld.

As for what it is.. Just something I fancied doing. With the weapons I've gven it, the base size its mounted on and its high off the table, it coule still be passable as a Storm Talon. msn-wink.gif
