:thanks: for the feedback guys, I'm glad that you like what I'm doing here. :)

Also, welcome back Midnight Runner!

As I've said before, I am now repainting my Baal Predator and then I'm planing on converting a TDA Sanguinary Priest performing his duty in the field of battle.

That's all I can say for now, I'll keep you posted.

great looking models, like the weathering too! ;) ;) :D do you perchance have some squad pictures? sargeants aside im always more interested how the rank and file models look like ;)

That's what I'm working on right now. :)

Coming up, is the 1st squad with all their markings on, with a meltagun and a Lascannon (let's hope that the rumours about the points cost are true :P )

I've also finished assembling and primed a Furioso Dreadnought (what a pain!)

Thanx for the feedback guys!

More pictures will follow soon...

EDIT:

First highlights with Fiery Orange, final highlights with Blazing Orange
I think you said that backwards.

Are you sure? ;)

Fiery Orange is darker than Blazing Orange (and it's a shame really that they put it out of production.)

At least that's how my pots are... :)

Fiery orange is like blazing orange with suunburst yellow;).

Thanks man... but what GW show off are you talking about?

EDIT: Holy  you're talking about the "What's new today" column!!

So they finally posted those pictures!

Thanks for letting me know! :)

That'll be the one ;)

  • 6 months later...

Hello everyone!

Long time no see!

So I haven't been posting anything since February, woW!!

Well, that's what you get if you are having 3 jobs. ;)

I've finally found some time to paint some of my own things after a HUGE goblin WAAGH for a client.

So... what's next on my list?

I repainted the Baal I had in a way that makes me happy by using my Tanned Flesh Highlights recipe and a better (I hope) weathering.

And the Gunner:

Next in line is a TDA Sanguinary Priest.

As always C&C are welcome! :)

PS. @Morticon or JamesI

Sorry about the threadomancy guys

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Btw... about my next project the SP, I managed to get my hands to Grey Knights TDA Apothecary stuff so I'm really excited about this.

I'll try though to make the source materials as less visible as possible.

Also I have in mind a little 40mm base diorama with this guy and I came up with 2 options.

1. Make a base with a fallen fellow Terminator that he just extracted the gene seed

or

2. Make him cut an Eldar dire avenger with his power sword (the fury part of a SP <_<)

For this one, I'm thinking to make it as if the sword has cauterized the wound rather than make an all around blood splatter.

Thoughts?

Lovely looking Baal (if a Baal can be 'lovely' that is!) and the weathering is excellent. How mad is that I have pretty much just finished painting my Baal's after playing them in grey since xmas and got to say they ain't up to that standard. Great stuff <_<

So where is that Baal???

Come on, post it dude!!!

You are an exeptional painter, I'm sure it's awesome! :(

BTW, I noticed that no one commented about the TDA SP.

Oh well...

I guess I'll have to see what to do with him when that time arrives...

 lol I'll let you be the judge of that but I'll have to borrow a camara or *buy* one

As for the priest, sorry I missed that one; I would go option 1 'cuz it would look mucho kewl, maybe with him kneeling down 'extracting'? Blood EVERYWHERE  sorry I can't help myself.....

I've worked a bit with the SP base, the fallen marine to be exact. It still needs work though.

Btw the terminator body is for reference only.

So, what do you guys think?

Hi guys!

At long last, I am about to contribute once again to this forum's armies! biggrin.png

Here are a few WIP pics of my LPC vow.

Sanguinary Priest PA:

Unfortunatelly, I decided that I didn't want the TDA in a kneeling pose. (for those of you that can remember that waaaaayyy back. msn-wink.gif

I hope that he is still presentable.

Thanks Legion! Also with my experience, well painted models roll better dice results. ;)

Anyway, I sat down today and did a little more work on my SPs and I can safely say that my Vow is almost completed!

I have only to highlight the red, do a few lenses here and there, finish the Power Sword and do some weathering.
