It's a pleasure to see some familiar faces again (you know who you are!!). I wish everyone the best of luck over the next three months, and the only pointers i wish to leave are: - Remember to post your fortnightly updates in this thread (or at least something solid that links back to your own WIP threads to I don't necessarily need to browse through 40 threads!!). Required updates does essentially breakdown to twice a month (which isn't a lot), however the more the merrier. - Always encourage each other!! This will form a solid basis of motivation for all (which i have seen in the past). - Try to persist to the end. For those who didn't get a chance to officially sign-up, i am afraid i can't not take any further sign-ups for the Call now, however in the event there are any members that need to formally leave the call, there may be a vacant spot left (this excludes excommunication though). Once again, best of luck to all. @Twin .44 - Glad to see you still made a pledge (and i can understand what you mean about the Bachelors). I have to make a decision about which Company Commander I am going to paint. You can see I have some good choices here. Any one care to weigh in? I just want to say I found this challenge extremely fun and motivating last year. I painted a drop pod, Belial, and 5 Assault Marines. It was a blast, and I can't wait to get started this year. Currently I'm gathering the minis I need for the call; be it a Ravenwing Land Speeder, 10 men tactical squad and a Dreadnought. The marines and Dreadnought I'm gonna use come from the AOBR box and the Land Speeder, well, from the Ravenwing Battleforce :D At the moment I have just a pile of parts, some of them primed. The AOBR marines look like they've been produced by Orks if you compare them to standard plastic kits from GW. As I hate the Seargeant mini, I'll be forced to convert it; luckily this one should be easy to turn into something acceptable. The Dreadnought is primed white and washed with badab black, but I think it shouldn't be a problem, as I'm planning to do some repositioning and paint it dark green. I'm going to paint it all in separate pieces, and want to fully paint the interior as well. Will try and get Lemartes started at some point today, although I do have 1 other non PA related model to paint up for an instore game on Saturday. I've also left the backpacks and weapons off the Death Company as I want to paint all those separate as well - I know everyone says "You can't see it" but i'm the kind of painter that I know if i've missed a bit, and i'm never happy if I have! The Death Company will all have jetpacks, along with some other weapons, (Thunder hammer, Infernus pistol etc). I've got my pledge along with another five Death Company models, a Devestator Squad with four Plasma Cannons, 15 Sanguinary Guard models and 2 Baal Predators. I've got a captain and Command Squad box set on it's way in soon along with the citadel spray gun so keep a lookout for an updat in the very near future!!!!
