Space wolves' hair advice

Recommended Posts

hello

I have a red corsairs army that I'm working on and after seeing this post I've decided to steal his idea. I bought the Space Wolves Pack (which comes w/ 56 heads!) and I plan on using the 10 as Chosen. The rest of the heads I would like to exchange for the bunny ears on my 40+ berzerkers.

I was wondering if I could get different hair painting recipes from you guys?

I would like to steer away from grey hair because I really can't see old veterans being converted by Huron. I think it would be mostly initiate blood claws.

This doesn't answer your question, but the grey hunters box comes with 56 heads?!

yep! The space wolves pack comes with 10 legs and bodies and 56 heads

I don't buy that all Space Wolves have red hair, they have any colour

They just have MAD hair <_<

My recipe for red/ginger, which is not that much red - but I found it and am very happy with that. Very simple also.

Basecoat - Graveyard Earth, thenslight overbrush of Blazing Orange, then wash with Ogryn Flesh - it gets toned down and becomes deep ginger/brown. Then give some slight highlights with Blazing Orange once more until You are happy.

The guy here was done in this technique.
