Puddle Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 Hey guys, as a bit of a joke army, I thought it would be funny to build an army entirely of Rending units. Seth for HQ, sniper scouts, regular Baal preds, Assault Cannon/Frag Cannon Dreadies, Storm Ravens, AC speeders, etc All models Rend. If you're easy on having units rend (not models) you can include Tactical Terminators with ACs too. This is not a serious list, but more of a novel idea. Thoughts? Brother Nathan Posted May 30, 2010 Share Posted May 30, 2010 You mean unles the opponent is 7 inches away during the shooting phase.... :devil: Anyway with the numbers of rending units in our army its quite possible to do a rending army that workswell. well that is if you are not me and roll 6s un statistically. with m nids my whole stealer unit would be lucky to get a 6, if only 1 or 2 get in to attack, you know they will roll straight 6's.... leads to quite the love hate relationship.... Made a Ork one which had a Mek with a Burna with some Burna Boyz inside a looted wagon with a skorcha and a warboss with kombi-skorcha in a battlewagon with nobz with kombi-skorchas. I think it really has potential to be competetive. furiosos with Frag Cannons, Baals, Speeders and Scouts are pretty good units.
