FallenLion Posted June 3, 2010 Share Posted June 3, 2010 I really like the mk 8 armour looks wise it looks cool and it fits with my whole chapter idea except it seems to be quite rare since most are mk 5-7 if any one knows where I can by mk 8 on masse and relatively cheap - not prepared for like £5 extra per mini and why the mk 8 isn't so typical all help is greatly appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cheap and Easy Mark 8 Armor by Duymon I've tried this myself, and the "cheap" part is right, but the "easy" part, not so much. Hemal Posted June 4, 2010 Share Posted June 4, 2010 Making the plasticard slightly soft using a hair dryer may work better - though I haven't tried this myself TBH Alternative is to use plain card or greenstuff, but the plasticard approach is probably going to be more precise. Not to one-up The War Store, those guys are awesome, but BlackDagger Games over on eBay has those pieces for $2, which is 50 cents cheaper than The War Store.
