his army:

Great unclean one

2x demon princes of nurgle

30 nurglings

5 screamers

20 plague demons

Both of us held everything in reserve so...

turn 1

him: Half of his army comes in on the center of the board models run to blob together towards his long table edge

me: nothing

turn 2

him: everything but 1 demon prince comes in, he continues to circle his units together with the nurglings forming a wall around his army.

me: nothing

turn 3

him: 2nd DP come in stays in circle...

me: everything comes in rather close together, stormraven comes in takes pot shots at a DP with las and multimelta no wounds.

turn 4:

him: nothing

me:moved stormraven back 6 inches and alpha striked DP, 1 wound caused.

Turn 5:

Game over, not a single model lost, 1 wound dealt the entire game, 30 minutes, tournament round.

So the reason you didnt assault something with your assault terms and furioso in turn 5 was? Or why you didnt attempt to do the same with your 20 assault marines?

You've got to risk it to win, and from what you have written it appears as though you gave up a massive advantage in mobility, and final turn assaults, in order to do nothing.

Was there some reason you chose an assault list and then refused to assault?

boring

I agree, this would have been MUCH more entertaining with descriptions, yet even more with pictures

Next time you do a battle report please do it with better descriptions and maybe even with some pics if you can -then people will actually be interested in your army and how you did. Hope this helps!
