Ash Tekka Posted June 30, 2010 Share Posted June 30, 2010 I bought a bag of bits and theres some older looking metal bits in there that I'm not sure what they look like. I don't have access to my camera currently so I will try to describe them as best as I can: 1) backpack for a space marine with two large wings coming off each side that are metal looking not feathery. 2) a things I think might be old missile launchers as they have like a clip full of missles 3) looks like a heavy bolter but looks like it might attach on the outside of the shoulder 4) 3 items that I think might be las cannons: all three mount over the shoulder. one is longer barreled and has a front grip with a small hand shield/long trigger cant tell what that might be. the other two are smaller versions of that same item. 5) last item is a long dragon looking thing with an open mouth and only two front legs...I don't even think this is a warhammer item... I'm sitting at work sorting the bits right now. I have a bunch of plastic ones that are different colored plastic and are smaller. I think those go to that space crusade or whatever it was called. ALL heavy weapons (except for the eldar, who had hover platforms back then too) back then were shoulder mounts. Granted I haven't played Fantasy in anywhere near as long I've played 40k but I'm generally pretty good at IDing what army a given piece comes from at least. It's too small to be one of the previous Dragon model kits. It doesn't have the heavy scales to be the older Hydra model. I don't recall the Lizardmen using anything in the form of a dragon like that. I can't do any better then a half guess with out a better picture. I think I ended up with 3 lascannons, I have one exactly like in that pic then the other two are just a wee bit smaller but still look the same. Those necromunda guys a weird looking. Go figure - tau manage to make suits of armour that kick gluteus maximus in close combat. THanks the Emperor that they never sue them themselves... Use it as a jump pack for a Librarian or a Captain. etc. Or sell it/swap it with someone who'd use it. You can bend it carefully so it wraps round a figure better, looks a lot less "Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines" if you do so.
