My feelings so far

so I am farly new to the 40k game, the first models I got my hands on was a few space marine many years ago, a mongst them meph, but never played until the new dex came out (played fantasy since 4th ed) but desieded when the new dex came it was time to play a few games of 40k.

 

so fare I have played 8 games and won 7, 6 one on one and two 2vs2 games and the one I lost was a 2vs2, so I blame it on the other guy :)

 

I find we a fairly well balanced but there a still many options I still havent tried.

well, I think my self a good tactics guy :D

 

and bit lucky, and it also helps that some of the people I have played agains really didnt know what they were doing :lol:

 

one of my last games were 2000pts and I played another BA player hwo has played 40k longer than I (dont know about BA)

he had 2 captains in his list and every think in his list that could DS did so, he had a LR that was carring 5 assault termis, that never left there transport, and we played annihilation, it generaly seem he didnt know what his was doing.

well u've played fantasy for a while now, so it's not unheard of to be good at 40k. they're essentially the same. in war there are pawns, there are kings and there executioners... i like that you painted the company and squad markings, i'm doing that w/ mine as well. i'm thinking of doing magnets on most of my RAS guys. sometime i wanna JP them, sometimes i wanna stick em in transport. looks pretty good. keep kicking ass in the name of sanguinius. btw what's your army list anyway?

I have tried a few diffrent lists and I love assault marines

 

but my current list wich seems quit good is as follow
