I'll throw my Captain into the mix i 'spose

 

Character name : Captain Irabrai

Chapter: Blood Guard

Codex: Blood Angels

Unit Entry: Captain

Wargear: Power Sword, Storm Shield

 

Points cost: 145

 

Stock "moves"

 

Moving: Move full speed towards enemy

Shooting: Run towards enemy

Charging/Assault: Charge into combat if in range, parry once, attack with all others

Voluntary fallback: No such thing, keep attacking!

So because there is stun instead of instant death can I use a thunder hammer at 25 points since it would use the same rules as a power fist. I just think it looks way better and I already have a model made with it.

since the Initiative reduction could still be useful for the next turn, I doubt the hammer will get a reduced cost.

Actually you're right - When it said you can replace the boltgun, bolt pistol and/or chainsword with the following...In the wargear it says he only has a bolt pistol or boltgun. (Was going to say you were wrong till i looked at the wargear he has naturally).

JamesI is correct - no reduction in cost for the thunder hammer as it still has benefits over the power fist.

Suppose ill throw one of my captains in, better that just lookin perty...

(dont supposes theres any chance to be able to buy artificer armour?)

 

Moving - Forwards to strike mercilessly at the emperors foes. Somehow trying to get the charge...

Shooting - when in range deliver the enemies to death( aka shoot them!) otherwise run...

Charging/Assault - always assault if possible, up to 2 parrys to parry stunable attacks if opponent has any, otherwise no parrys.

Voluntary Fallback - Never Retreat Never Surrender

Actually can my captains sword and pistol count as a pair of lightening claws? only noticed there is some counts as going on so thought id ask...also keep em commin guys, lets have our ist ready before the rest of the forums!
There's a bit of counts as going on, but counts as has limits. Also, part of the reason for giving over 30 days from the announcement to the deadline to submit entries was to give players time to convert/model/paint models, if necessary, minimizing the counts as. I think that it would be difficult to stretch a power weapon and infernus pistol to a pair of lightning claws.

Moving - Always towards the foe!

Shooting - Smite the foe with plasma (when in range)!

Charging/Assault - Smite the foe with stabby death (parry once if opponent charges)!

Voluntary Fallback - You're joking, right?

Well this gives me an awesome oppertunity to try out my new blood seekers colour scheme. Here we go:

Moving : Towards the enemy, but not into their move + assault range. Wait for them to come within Alto's move + assault range! then once the opponent is within 12", move, shoot and assault.

Shooting : Always. then, beacause of the range of the IP, then should immediatley follow :

Charging : :D yes please! at any oppertunity. Also, parry up to once each assault phase, twice against a stunning attack. dont parry if the opponent is stunned by the infernus pistol when i wound them with it.

Volutary Fallback : xD thats a good one, you should become a comedian! (no) :D

Extras : The person conducting the rolls and such much shout my chapters battle cry each time i charge, succesfully cause a wound or succesfully parry. To be repeated 10 times in the case of a victory. ;)

Brother Tyler/James - Is there any chance I can change my entry?

 

Same character only bump him up to Reclusiarch status and drop the jump pack? Still 145 points ;) only I have ripped the jump pack off the model so he can still roll with my DC now and I fancy having Initiative 5 instead of 4 (as well as the extra wound). And I'll post a new photo for WYSIWYG.

Nothing is final until the closing bell rings. I recommend that any modified entries be done via editing the initial post so that I don't get confused, though. In all likelihood, I have enough intellect to figure out that the same person entering multiple minis in the same forum only intends to enter the last one posted, but there's always the chance that I'll have an attack of knuckleheaditis.
But arg it seems so dastardly to use such foul psychic powers in a tournament of combat!
