Ok on Friday i'm having a 1500pt battle with my mate (Orks against my Raven Guard, who i uese the BA codex with) who's army consists of: - 60ish boyz - lootas - deff dread - killa kanz - storm boyz - warboss - nobz I've got this to choose from: - 20 assault marines (lightning claws, flamer, 3 plasma pistols) - 5 sang guard + chapter banner - 1 tact squad (rhino, PW, flamer and ML) - 1 tact squad (rhino, flamer, LC) - 15 scousts (5 CC, 4 bolter, 1 HB, 4 sniper and 1 ML) - 7 sternguard (PF and 2 heavy flamers) - 1 Sang priest w/ JP + PW - chaplain w/ JP - Captain w/ JP and Lightning claws - 5 devasators (2 LC, 1 HB and 1 MM) - Counts as Dante So my question you you peeps is what list would you suggest with what i have to help me againts these pesky Orks as this could be a challenge... angel of justice Posted July 21, 2010 Share Posted July 21, 2010 I dont have my codex in front of me but i would use something like this not 100% sure of points costs though HQ Reclusiarch with jump pack ELITES sang priest with power weapon and jump pack Stern guard squad with 2 heavy flamers and power fist with a rhino sanguinary guard with banner TROOPS 10 man assault squad with jump packs flamer and lightning claw (bunker for the priest and chaplain) 5 man assault squad with jump packs and lightning claw (to help with attacking large boy units) 10 man tactical squad flamer and lascannon (combat squad so the flamer can go roast some orks and the lascannon can pop some kans) 10 man tactical squad flamer and lascannon (from dev squad) (combat squad so the flamer can go roast some orks and the lascannon can pop some kans) 5 scouts with bolters and a heavy bolter (on a flank in cover preferably) and if there are points left take dante Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
