Cpt. Salvatore
I am not going to say some old fashioned thing like "Wow, awesome" or "Fantastic, totally perfect!" or even send a line of emoticons to show my utter amazement. All of this was there. And none of this would be a full-fledged release of my feeling towards this and you as it's creator. What feeling you might ask? It is simple and pure feeling. Hatred. I hate you. I hate you because you show me how will I never model/paint. I hate you because I am a staunch loyalist and this thing is an offense to my eyes. And third reason why I hate you is that once more the terrible and unspeakable temptation to create myself an army of Word Bearers and betray Him thus grows stronger when I see this. Finally, one thing is left to ask... Are you satisfied with yourself? HUH?! ARE YOU?:P Congratulations to the awesomely wicked piece of plastic/metal/whatever. You can be satisfied. angerforce
Submit! :) :P ;) "It's been a while since we focused on Apocalypse and we thought that every morning this week we would go in search of the biggest model, the biggest armies and the biggest battles and bring them to you. Of course, if some of those models come to us then all the better, and to help we are kicking of our Apocalypse Super-Heavy competition. We want you to send us your best painted and/or converted Stompa/Baneblade sized model to whatsnewtoday@games-workshop.co.uk. At the end of this week we will pick the best and not only will that person be immortalised on What's New Today, but they will also receive a set of Game Board extensions to give them an even bigger Apocalypse table. (Full terms and conditions are at the bottom of the post.) " http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/...-New-Blog-Posts

It's submitted now, but I'm not sure it counts as "baneblade-sized". It's quite apocalyptic though.

More or less... And it said Stompa/baneblade, and that thing is like if a stompa and a baneblade had a sick and twisted lovechild... ;) Good luck! I hope you get picked! /B. God Of War
The shock that someone besides them could build such a truly stunning and amazing model-no, piece of art-could bring the entire GW staff to their knees. The fact that I will never be able model/paint like that took away my will to live. It allowed me to devote myself even more to Lorgar's holy cause. All hail the prophet!!! Terminatorinhell
this is still one of my favorite chaos superheavies to date as i look into the church i can feel the very atmosphere, the piety of the word bearers, it is really hard to pull that off and you did it perfectly. Ecritter
That has to be the worst piece I've ever seen on here. Completely trash. Can I have it?

The Prophet
I arranged a game of Apocalypse for my friends recently, and while not actually playing my Word Bearers, I just had to smash in there with the church. I used modest rules, c.a. Doomhammer, with a special crazed rule (1-2 Blood Rage, 3-6 Fire Frenzy) that was supposed to flat out those boring tarpit close combats. Surprisingly it came in behind the chaos gunline, exploded a bombard tank by ramming, shot the main imperial character to death and released a pack of "medium daemons" that ate a few of the to-far-away chaos troops. Unfortunately, the havocs inside that where supposed to reinforce the chaos side, where to far away from any real action. I'm trying to find a picture of my last planetstrike apocalypse battle, where my church faced a deepstruck stompa. I'm putting it up when I find it! /The Prophet

Zincite
 How could GW not pick this monster to go on the blog/competition? I look at every update on there, and none of the entries (even the winner) were as good as this? :P Very good though mate, very good. The only thing wrong is the fact that it's not packed to the brim with world bearers!

The Prophet
So here is some photos of the guys that usually occupy the church benches. I missed the guardian flamer guy, so he is coming later. The black CSM is my secret fallen angel (don't tell anyone!), called the Black Pilgrim, that my Dark Apostle has adopted to his host. My "summoner" with the praying hands is usually riding the Cultist Temple into battle, but I also use him for kill team or as just another CSM when I don't bring the temple into battle. The hands are made from the missile launcher left arm plus green stuff for the right hand. I really hope you are satisfied with yourself! I already finished converting my first few squads of Word Bearers! You were right, my hatred bought me to the Gods:) Nice to hear ;)
Ace Debonair
I'm a through and through loyalist, and this obviously heretical device should be torn asunder and purged with fire. And when it is, I'm taking that stained glass window. That has to be the most fiendishly Magnificent thing I've ever seen associated with the Word Bearers. And the capital 'M' is very well deserved.
Aqui
I'm a through and through loyalist, and this obviously heretical device should be torn asunder and purged with fire. I used to be "a loyalist through and through" too Ace. Nowadays, I see things 50/50. It's never too early (or late) to embrace Chaos! ;)
