HandOfDorn Posted August 20, 2010 Share Posted August 20, 2010 Can we get a sort of timeframe for when the two forgotten Primarchs were exterminated/exiled/whatever.. I know from reading Descent of Angels, that Israfael is talking to Zahariel about the Primarchs during his induction, and Israfael clearly states there are twenty Primarchs, and delves into a tale of all twenty, yet this actual tale is not shown to the reader. Now does this mean that during the events of the discovery of Caliban, both Primarchs were still around and active? This could hint at the two either using forbidden powers, such as Magnus', and using the tarot and features of The Emperor's personality not present in any Primarchs, could one have been a Navigator? If so then perhaps the Eye of Terror or Chaos could have something to do with this, anyway back to the point, if all Primarchs are supposedly present in the Imperium at the time of the discovery of Caliban, when did they stop being mentioned freely and exiled? Guillermus of Eisenheim Posted August 20, 2010 Share Posted August 20, 2010 Horus' vision in False Gods suggests that the Eleventh Primarch might have been killed when the Chaos Gods snatched them all away. In his dream, Horus smashes the tank, but it could easily have been broken in real life by the Warp storm. It doesn't mention the Second. Kor Megron Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 The two forgotten primarchs were both in turn reunited with the Emperor and both took command of their respective legions during the crusade, sometime during the crusade they both suffered their own seperate "tragedies" and both were subsequently lost/destroyed with their legion, there are a huge list of possible things that could've happened to those two and their legions. Brother Contemptus Posted August 23, 2010 Share Posted August 23, 2010 the 2 "lost" primarchs are as said before reunited with the Empy & their brothers (primarchs) Horus' vision which is granted by Erebus/the Chaos Gods is NOT a totally honest backflash, but a fever-riddled manipulation by the aforementioned powers. Under these circumstances its NOT possible to discern truth from deceit by this hallucination the 2 have been lost after they have been found but before the Istavaan-massacres (they are not accounted for when Horus calculates his chances to rebel against empy) there is NO hint why they are called "lost" noone knows whether thy still exist or were annihilated the two missing Legions are NOT the GK SoB Exorcists Deatwatch LotD or any other already posted chapter there are already lots of threads about the lost primarchs, so plx don't open another one Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
