Disciple of Horus
http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/a/a0/SonsOfHorusMarine.jpg (Image Courtesy of wh40k.lexicanum.com) Greetings brothers, I have a question to ask you all. I am preparing to paint a Chaos Force and I wanted to use the Original Livery of the Sons of Horus. Which Citadel paint would best match this shade of green? I am not completely familiar with the entire paint range and I have already learned not to trust the paint "splotches" on the website.
Brother Nihm
one way of doing it another The "sea green" as I have interpreted it, is a mix of camo green and hawk turquoise, highlighted with increasing amounts of rotting flesh. Shaded with the base mixed with purple wash and green wash.
Heru
My way of doing it is 30 / 40% Goblin Green and 60 / 70 % Adeptus Battlegrey mixed together. Which should give you a colour similar to this: It's based on esinhorn's version: HERE Which is 20% Goblin Green and 80% Adeptus Battlegrey, more akin to the Sons of Horus artwork from the cover of Horus Rising.
