Need some purchasing input

So, I decided to run death company without jump packs, which GW have so graciously decided to stop selling in favour of the new jump or regular pack models.

 

I was thinking I could mend this by buying a tac. squad box, and giving them the d.c's jump packs. The question is then;

 

Will I have enough pistol/chainsword arms out of the three boxes? I'm thinking the death company will have 2 inferno pistols, if that helps.

I don't really get the problem, but the DC box comes both with jp and regular packs. And the box comes with 2 inferno pistols as I can recall.

The problem is that:

 

I will be getting two packs of D.C, and I will put regular back-packs on them.

 

I will the get a tactical squad in sprues, on whom I intend to use the jump packs from the d.c box.

The question is then;

 

Will I have enough arms to get some sort of bolt pistol/c.c weapon variant on all 20 models.

I think I understand what you are asking.

 

2 packs of DC (10 models) + 1 tactical squad (10 models)... will you have enough BP&CCW from all/both sets to equip all 20 models? ...the answer is NO.

 

You could get the Black Templars upgrade sprue or buy the Space Wolves Pack... both come with BP&CCW, but with chapter appropriate icons of course.

Thanks for that. I guess I'll have to improvise a bit then. Power fist + bolter death company abound I suppose.

 

Makes me long for the days I played 13th Company. Icons this, icons that. Just mix however I want.

There was an old plastic Space Wolves box, blood claws I think, that had 10 sets of BP&CCW with no icons on them... and the rest of the tactical parts, minus the heavy weapons. Perhaps it is on ebay?
