increaso
As such, it might imply that what happened to the two legions isn't rebellion, treason, rejection, or something else where the other Primarchs and Astartes could feel anger, but maybe some sort of disaster that revealed (or threatened to reveal) a fatal flaw in the Primarch/Astartes project. I was thinking something along those lines. Somewhere towards the end of the book there is mention of the lost legions being 'purged'. Not just purged from the records, but actually purged. This seems to indicate some violence directed at the legion by the Empire and co. However, look at the Thousand Sons pre-Magnus. They suffered physical instability and were allowed to live. I don't know what could have led to this apparant 'purge'. I think it's weird that the secret of the lost legions should remain a secret since the original 'create your own legion/chapter' thing doesn't work in any way with the current tid bits we are given in the Horus Heresy series. Razhbad
It still works perfectly, there is no back ground. All you know for certain is that the Primarchs a sworn to secrecy and that all data was deleated and expunged. It is unknown if war was made against them or whether they joined the Ultramarines. Therefore people can create the gaps as much as they want to. Jelle1880
In Mechanicum Dorn and Malacador discuss this. Dorn wishs that he had two more legions and is told that they are "lost to us" or something like that. But in the end it's a mystery, and that's how it was intended and how it should remain. This. It adds to the mystery. Coming out with 'Oh, here they are, welcome back OHNOES YOU'RE EVIL DIEDIEDIE HERETIC!' would be kind of lame. Also, brilliant sig <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212160-two-lost-legions/page/3/#findComment-2568850 Share on other sites
