grazer
My take on the old Librarian with Scroll (incidentally my favorite Librarian mini out there) I'm planning on repainting the loincloth in yellow as it completely slipped my mind that blue and yellow are the Librarian colours. matchbox
I used the half an half scheme for my Librarian. When i get home i'll post a picture up. but it looks effective and it's obvious what he's supposed to be.

Angelus Mortifer
I quite like having certain models stand out from the rank and file, despite the obvious ones like Chaplains. http://i741.photobucket.com/albums/xx54/SebJones_photos/Blood%20Angels/LibKoris1.jpg

JasonfromFW
Just like Angelus Mortifer I like when my HQs in general stand out. For my captain, I used a big rocky base and makes him higher. For my librarian, i used blue scheme with touches of red. http://s.buendia.free.fr/Face.JPG
Angelus Mortifer
Oooh I like this! May I ask what colours were used on the Mort? Certainly: Primed predominantly black for this one, - Regal Blue basecoat - Regal Blue/Ultramarines Blue (50/50) - Ultramarines Blue - Ultramarines Blue/Space Wolf Grey (50/50) - Space Wolf Grey - Skull White The last two colours were added as highlights to extreme edges, with everything else being blended up from recesses and shadows. Hope that helps.

Rogue Trader Voril
I like the pre-heresy red scheme (Libs wore legion colors), so I went that way. I think the model stands out well enough that I don't need to paint a big blue target on him ;) http://i732.photobucket.com/albums/ww322/roguetradervoril/100_3639.jpg

Ranwulf
My Librarian is painted silver, but then again, my army is Knight themed (and the Libby is actually the Emperor's Champion)... I would paint it red, ignore the desire of Papa Smurf wanting a little smurf in every army! Ran

Cpt. Salvatore
So, the model because of wich I started this topic is in painting at the moment. Soon I will have pics of the finished product. The colours are far from done but the scheme is already more than obvious and, I must say I am incredibly happy with the outcome. He looks AWESOME:D
Cpt. Salvatore
So, as promised, there are the pics! I finished him some 10 minutes ago so it is straight from the oven sort of. I apologize for the quality of the pics, it is phone photo only. http://i56.tinypic.com/2cqxs1c.jpg http://i54.tinypic.com/2retht2.jpg And, a closeup of his skirt http://i52.tinypic.com/fao2lz.jpg
