Horrible, really. Nevertheless, the weekend has afforded me time to paint a wee bit, and for once, it is my Chaos Terminators, who have gotten a bit of love. Hopefully, they will be done by October 1st, as I have an Apocalypse game against a horde of Imperial Guardsmen (without any armour support, besides three Armoured Sentinels (2 Lascannons, 1 Plasma Cannon)) and their Grey Knight allies (which is a bucket full of Terminators, Imperial Temple assassins of all flavours, Hector Rex and friends). The robed legs from MicroArts are indeed brilliant for giving the Terminators just that extra bit of height. How it will work ingame with the TLOS rules, I am a bit unsure off, but the models are fantastic. All I need is to paint them...which is quite a bit harder done than said. This morning prior to work, I managed to wash the metal bits on their guns with the old "Armour Wash". With a little bit of luck, I should be able to highlight the guns tonight after work. Tiberus Satio Posted September 22, 2011 Share Posted September 22, 2011 I always used dwarf bronze to dry bursh lightly then mix not even a full tip of chaos black to the bronze and dry brush it.
