LoTD and Purity Seals

Hey folks!

 

I'm working on my own version of the Legion of the Damned and I was wondering what, if anything, happened to their Purity Seals? Would they still look like normal or would they have been charred, or changed in any way?

 

Let me know your thoughts.

Looking that the LotD models on the GW web site, they just look like your normal Space Marine purity seals

Though it would be pretty cool doing a charred effect just around the edge/bottem just to add that little bit of a effect & due to the LotD being that sort of specil unit you want to stand out in your army. Also just with the Black Power Armour as well, just bring a bit more depths to them.

I think it'll deffinatly char the Purity Seals for effect. Will post pictures on day in the future, if I ever paint them!!

ha ha ha! I didn't think of this before, but now that you mention it, that's a pretty big oversight by GW...

 

As Insane Psychopath said, I think a little charring/scorching would fit in nicely on LotD marines. You could also yellow the parchment a little as well to add some age to it.
