I'm new here and have seen an article on the GW website where the army is composed of multiple squads of deathcompany. In the codex it says you can only have one, and i can't find any special rule to suggest otherwise anywhere. calgar101 Posted October 30, 2010 Share Posted October 30, 2010 Astorath the Grim removes the 0-1 limit and also any unit with the Red Thirst rule instead of needing to get a 1 to have it now need 1-3. P.S. A Death Company army is awesome :P I love mine. With regards to Death Company Dreadnoughts, you can have 1 for every 5 Death Company marines you have in the army, though each dreadnought still takes up a troops choice. Hialmar Posted October 30, 2010 Share Posted October 30, 2010 With a fully kitted out 25 man DC squad with jump packs, fairly full complement of special weapons Lemartes and Astorath, you can take 5 DC Dreadnoughts with Drop Pods with DW ML and some Magna Grapples sprinkled in all for 2500 points. biglou666 Posted October 30, 2010 Share Posted October 30, 2010 hehe, DC are nice and killy, just dont let your enemy mess them around, if your enemy is clever enough they can choose what your DC attack and assault. Might i reccomend keeping all of your rage units in transports? put the majority of the army into rhinos and pods, and then one big 15 man DC sqaud with 10 bolters and 5 power weapons and a reclusiarch in an LRC. that way, you choose what they do, not your opponent.
