Magnetising Deathwing

Advice about magnets please.

 

I'd like to magnetise the plastic Terminators I plan to purchase in the coming months, but am unsure about magnet sizing (as I only have slightly smaller and assembled metal Terminators). I've found 2 x 1 mm (diameter x thickness) magnets that look like they'll fit the bill, but also (and for half the price) 3 x 1.5 mm. The larger ones will still fit right? I'll be doing arms (obviously) and Cyclone launchers.

3x1mm is the perfect size.

 

Beware its 3.0 mm and not some Imperial system size... because most drill bits are DIN!

 

3x1,5 should work decently also :D

Yeah, they were 3 mm diameter, it was just my incomplete typing. In light of your advice, I had a slightly better look, and found some 3 mm x 1mm magnets, 50 for just over £2, free postage, so I got a couple of packs.

 

Looking forward to the flexibility afforded by them! Thanks for both of your speedy responses.
