Dhx711 Posted November 17, 2010 Share Posted November 17, 2010 When using Unleash Rage, is the perferred enemy benefit chosen based on army or on race? Was playing a friendly game over the weekend with a friend where we made our lists and switched armies (he played my BA and I played his CSM's). His Librarian and Assault Termies charged a squad of Lesser Demons and also made contact with a squad of CSMs. The BRB is vague on if a choice needed to be made on which squad (if any) he counted as his perferred enemy that turn. In that type of situation do you need to declare the unit or would he have gotten it for any Chaos unit (provided the unit has a WS)? JamesI Posted November 17, 2010 Share Posted November 17, 2010 Preferred enemy almost always now is universal (which really means they should change the name of the rule). Tycho's is race specific and I think Space Wolves have a way to get PE that isn't universal, but its been universal in most codexes for a long time (like Dante's old version) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Brother Nathan Posted November 17, 2010 Share Posted November 17, 2010 yup as mentioned. pupies priests(chappys) pick the type they give prefered enemy against, such as infantry, jump infantry and mc etc. ours is against anything in cc. providing you pass your test that is...
