It is always nice to drop by and see something new from you. Reminded me of Titan136 or Eberious. Very very inspiring.

Ahem! As someone who thoroughly ripped off Titan, where's my credit? :cuss

Anyway, things look very good. A few washes or selective darkening of the bone and red would do some good, but as things stand it is easily Tabletop standard. Nicely done.

Firsty thanks Lord Exedore always good to hear. And Firepower now now, clam down. Its a good thing you made a correction Lex, as that could of got ugly. :)

On topic, good stuff on here. Puts my efforts to shame to complete as much as you have. A personal tatse but I'm not a fan of undrilled gun barrels. Got a 3rd of the way thru the 2nd crusader squad when a shiny new project distracted me. To be fair its a furioso (however its spelt) dead version for my BT's.

Gentlemen, a long overdue update here. I do apologize for how long it has taken me, but I believe it will be well worth it. This post will be rather picture heavy, but I FINALLY completed my original 2k army list!!!!!! The only thing that had not been posted as of yet is the 3rd predator, well my brothers here it is!!!!!!!!!

And just because I really like the combined Look, Here is a picture of the predators as a group:

And now here it is, a fully painted 2k Black Templar Army!!!!!!!!!!!

And Now just the armor:

So with that being said, I did make a small change to the 2k List. I decided I wanted to remove the assault terminators, and replace them with a tactical terminator squad sporting tank hunters and dual CML's. Now I didnt have any CML's and sure as hell wasn't going to pay 50 bucks just to get the proper bits, so I decided to make my own. And here they are Gents

And another thing I thought I would add, I'm attending a Tourney this coming Saturday, so I figured I would take a pic of the 1750 list I plan on running:

Your C&C is truly appreciated as always guys!!!!

Hey guys thanks for the comments! I'm definately happy the original 2k is finished, now I just gotta paint up one neophyte a couple marines and a razorback to round out the new 2k.

@roma - the little cross in these photos does look a little out of place, however if you take a look at the first page in this thread it hads pics of the LRC by itself. I believe once you see those pics u won't believe the little cross is outta place.

I am talking about that very land raider, u know the one with the red cross, not like a templar one but like a jesus one. Its obvious that its hand painted and is not... well sorta not straight, like a decal one. i dont know how you did it but the templar crosses on the same land raider look really straight and all.

So Just finished up my Small CC crusader squad that will be going into a razorback, I'm building my army up towards the apocolypse level, and to get it there I'm adding 2 of these units to my existing army to bump it up to right about 3k

The squad consists of 3 marines with Bolt Pistols and Close Combat Weapons, One guy with a flamer (The sword is just there for looks), and a Bolt Pistol and Power Weapon Initiate.

I have the razor back built and primed and will hopefully have it done in a decent amount of time, the razorback will be armed with a twin linked las cannon. Anyway here are the pics!

OK so its the craziest thing and I shouldnt really be giving critique as my painting is far below yours however. The power fist fingers are currently too close to Ice Blue for my likings. It might be the picture but I think they would really benefit from some white washing and some subtle highlighting. The concept is good but the delivery is not as good. I am only judging you on the high standards of your vehicles, which are brilliant.

Do you do it all by paintbrush or do you use technical pens? Have recently bought a 0.05 pen to do all my script work and it is not only easier but looks better than what I could achieve before. With lines this smooth I wonder if you did it all by paintbrush (not that doing otherwise is "cheating"!)

Lol I am guilty of not removing mould lines, or drilling my barrels! I'm no golden daemon by far and I'm just going for table top quality as I really don't enjoy painting all that much. The powerfists/lightning claws are all going to be re-worked to somewhat reflect the powersword, I really didn't have a good idea on how to do power weapons until the grey knight codex came out. I really like the looks of their weapons and did what i could to mimick it. I personally like the result.
