Help to choose a chapter

Hello again one and all, it's been a while since I last posted here.

I might actually have the balls to buy a box of devastators after the christmas, and I'm trying to decide what colours to paint them in. And I have no clue. I want them to be siege specialists, like the Imperial fists, and successors to them, because they are the only ones getting sh** done after the heresy. Did I mention I came straight off the 1d4chan-site? Anyway, please don't hate me for that. I have nothing else about them, like calling them "Crimson fists" and actually painting their fists red, but could you give me some hints? In the past all my armies have been either Red or Shadow-greyish, And I seriously don't want to do that again. Also, I don't think green would suit them.

Thanks for the possible help.

Alternatively, if there's a chapter that uses dreads and devastators extensively, could you post it's (their) names here.

Devastator models rock,

CaptGarro.

there actually is a crimson fists chapter, which has its fists painted red, and is an imperial fists successor chapter. You might want to look into them. They have a dark-ish blue color scheme with red fists and details, and might be just what you're looking for

The only two chapters recorded in the codex as procedors of the imperial fists are the balck templars and the crimson fists.

The codex has several different chapters shown. The only 'siegey' ones are the aurora chapter(who are green ;) ) and the Praetors of orpheus who are white with blue trim. The Praetors never say 'siegey' but have massive ties with the adeptus mechanius. There are also the doom legion who have 'space bound firepower', not sure about ground though. they are boltgun with black shoulders and green trim. Hope this helps.

If not its not to hard to make up your own chapter as BloodWulf said the space marine painter will really help.

Oh and killerdreadnought do you mean Sons of ORAR, it might be a typo, sorry if it is.
