The Shadow Guard Posted February 5, 2011 Share Posted February 5, 2011 My LPC Vow I, Shadowguard of the Dark Angels Forum, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least Five squads of Deathwing terminators led by a Master of Deathwing in TDA as part of a 1500 point DW army on or before the 31st of March, 2011. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done. I myself have about finished all the arms, just need magnets in them, but all gluein de-moldlining and even a base and spray black are on the 5 termies. speeder is assembled in paintable bits. I am posting it here so that you guys could let me have it in terms of the work done. Please remember thatI last worked on models almost seven years ago.... a little rusty.... The main concept I am trying to achive is to convey dynamism for the terminators and each squad is posd to support each other, Classically the single Th Hammer terminator will be displayed as if protecting the cyclone missle launcher while two others will be on each flank with the sergant somewhere next to the Th termie. Started work on this on 13 February 2011; Phase 1 completed today 20 february 2011. The Shadow Guard Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Oops I forgot to mention.... I only have 2 cyclone MIls form the 2 Terminator boxes. I don't want to use the metal ones. I've used blu tac to stick the MLs on different models for the pics. Looking like I may have to buy two more sets just to get the MLs.... I can always use the rest of the termies to expand.
