Well it's a cool mode and a quaity paintjob...but doesn't seem particularly Templary in any regard to be honest. Looks more Spartan than anything.

Guess we're just so badass that even Spartans wanna join the club.

Well, it's a cool model, and well painted, but I agree with Firepower, not very Templary, and personally I don't care for it in a Templar army. But that's just my opinion, if you like it, then that's what really important. If I were to get a model from Scibor to make a Marshal out of I'd use one of their SF Templar models, they would fit in much better with the regular Marines.

Also the Spartan guy's "backpack", if you can call it that, looks more like a hairdryer than anything else. But like I said, not a knock on you, just not for me.

+1

However with a few tweaks it could fit in. Remove the head and replace it with a more Templar crusader head. Thinking of a converted bretonnia helmet, file off the "v" symbol and get a BT cross on there. The giant hairdryer as Acebaur put it, I would try and get a terminator back on to it. Not saying to do this, as if you are happy with the model then by all means crack on, but after all that converting you might as well go with the BT stuff Scibor makes. Paint wise good stuff so far, hope you are going to add some more BT gubbins.

On a side not and OT, to be honest I never really liked his stuff, always a bit bulky especaily in the shin guard area.

hm... Yeah i know i doesnt seems so Templar.... so maybe i convert it somehow but i will leave it as a good model... or a sergeant at my Assault termies! maybe some seals - Cross sticks , make some job at model?

I think its just the helmet that throws it the most, trial run some BT bits with blutak fisrt to see what will work(if you can). How are your converting skills, as its a failr expensive model to go chopping at. Was going to say game wise in some cases, that you might get some issues with some players. As he's so far up on the statue's head he'll lose benifet from some cover.

I would keep him as a marshal.
