Oh I'll be keeping him, but I doubt he will see much "table time". :D

I had a game the other night, I lost but it was a great game and we did a fair few things wrong (we used the card objective things).

Here's a few pics!

Ooooh they're lovely!

I don't seem to be able to get into 30k at all. I love the HH books, and the miniatures are really great, but when it comes to painting an army of them I can't muster the enthusiasm. No idea why!

I think the next army on my list will be a Thousand Sons army.  But then I have always wanted to finish my Ultramarines... then there is the Grey Knights I have... oh and that small Eldar force, and Daemons are always great fun...

Yeah, I thought they were a nice flip-side to your 40k take on the WBs. Its quite refreshing too to see you match the cult troops into your force. Keep up the good work!

TBH, I'm waiting to do a PH 'Sons army myself, that is straight after my 'Angels, DE, Orks, etc. :ph34r.:  :biggrin.:

I have watched your threads from afar for a little while and I must say that all around the painting is excellent, but what's impressed me the most is the way you've seemingly carefully selected the bits for your Possessed  to downplay the inherent flaws with that kit and then painted them in a way that brings those parts together in an almost naturalistic way. Not quite FW's Gal Vorbak, but as close as anyone will get using that kit. Nice one

Cheers Sock!

I think one of the big problems people have with the Possessed kit is the truly awful poses and the average paint jobs GW have always given them. I'm not for a second suggesting I can paint better than the 'Eavy metal people, but the ones they painted seem to have been done with little love for the minis, and it comes across in the paint jobs. I love the concept of possessed marines, and I think most models can be rescued if you spend enough time on em :D

Some of the bits on the possessed sprue are really ace too for simple conversions, even if you don't like the models themselves!

Thought I'd share some pics of my game last night!

Techincally I "won" however the scenario we played (Emperor's Will) made it so that we had a draw.

I've lurked around this thread for a long time and I love the colours of your Word Bearers, so much so that I started my Crimson Slaughter using this as an inspiration. I used the bright colours that you have used and I'm extremely happy with how they look so far.

I will keep checking back here for ideas and I hope the updates keep on coming.

Nemac

Really flattered man!

I've seen the start you made on your Crimson slaughter stuff in your space wolves thread. It looks really good so not sure how much inspiration my thread could be, but appreciate you saying so :D

(Your Tzeentch Daemon Prince is very cool!)
