I don't think the quality was awful, I just know it can be better. If I did do more videos then I would definitely be asking different opponents to partake in the report. I have an entire gaming club at my disposal for that! Painting tutorials would be a more difficult venture. I really would need a good camera set up to film it. It just kinda fit with the palette of the miniature and since bruising and such is purple and obviously the colour of the warp is purple (on these guys anyway) it just seemed like the right thing to do! I did rush this fella along a little bit, which I may end up regretting but they aren't really Word Bearers or even anything I am really working on at the moment, so I wanted to get him done! :D Both are great models, I may have to start a renegade force very soon! :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And yeah, I was very close to painting it with a red robe, but something inside told me to run with what I felt was the way I would want a renegade force to look like. Tzen Posted December 12, 2015 Author Share Posted December 12, 2015 Hi Ghost, glad you like it! :D It's still my favourite model after painting it. I used stegadon green, with coelia Nightshade wash. I then edge highlighted it with Stegadon green > Sotek Green > Temple Guard blue. I then did a glaze with medium and Coelia nightshade to pull it together. It does look thunderhawk Bluey, but those are the colours I used! :D I did start doing some terrain recently, but I was given Fallout 4 as an early xmas present, and yeah... it's just been all about that recently :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Prot Posted December 12, 2015 Share Posted December 12, 2015 Tzen - I'm someone who has largely played Crimson Slaughter since the last codex. As a result I'm always beating myself over the head to paint up Possessed or consider buying/using Gal Vorbak (sorry for murdering the name of them) as possessed.
