When you don't actually know what the symbol for Librarians is and think they are just cool ram heads that you can put crosses on.

When you exactly know what that symbol is. It's Templar for "primary assault target".

...when you found this kind of picture on google image and think: "Ho yeah, Those are perfect Templar Bikers ! ! !"

When you come back to this thread at least once a week, KNOWING it will be already refreshed with a new display of zeal. When you replenish your faith, basking in the fire raised by your Brothers. When you give back and rekindle the furnace over and over again.

When this thread, like our Crusade, is eternal.

And thus, when you find peace in the knowledge that, eternally, no witch, no heretic, no xeno will be ever safe from our Holy Bolter and Chainsword.

...when your zeal is reinvigorated after listening to the Templar audio drama.

...when you come back to this forum, this sub forum and this thread after a looong hiatus to see it's zeal still holds strong. This fills your heart with warmth of your brothers for continuing the crusade and still retaining that eternal zeal for this long. My brothers are amazing.

...when you make a thread that lasts for 53 pages for over 3 years

Hi everyone. :)

When you realize that regardless of their wargear and the mark of their power armor, that Librarians all weigh the same as a duck.

...When you know that sufficient energetic oxidation renders most foul things to the weight of a duck.

When you realize that regardless of their wargear and the mark of their power armor, that Librarians all weigh the same as a duck.

A like is not sufficient to register the laughter this got. I literally LOL'd.

Oh Monty Python, How I miss thee.

Monty Python - The witch scene.

What, blasphemey is this? Every one knows The Emperor has been here since the beginning.

Who else do you think Merlin was?

Is it not said that the Emperor watched for many years before revealling himself to us?

He has guided us though our evolution, fire, the wheel, ships, the combustion engine, the jet engine, space travel.

Great men, Merlin, Archamedes, Einstein, Aristotle. The Emperor?

For is HE not an Eternal? Is he not the product of all the Eternals?

THE EMPEROR PROTECTS.

You know you're a Black Templar when you can put two-and-two together...

... The Emperor discovered fire.

Edit: Just wanted to say Welcome back, Th!rdeye. It's been gloomy without our Emperor's Champion around.

You know you're a Black Templar when every time you look through the awesome Crusade and ETL threads the sight of all those painted models gets this scene from the movie Ice Pirates stuck in you head:

Jason: [looking at the robot that Roscoe has built] Why'd you make him black?

Roscoe: [smiling] Because I wanted him to be perfect.

What, blasphemey is this? Every one knows The Emperor has been here since the beginning.

THE EMPEROR PROTECTS.

Ah... I see... my bad indeed brother...

but wait... those words... I've heard them before, but not from an Astartes of the Imperial Truth...

When your wife asks why Arn: The Knight Templar and Ironclad are on our Netflix que and the directors edition of Kingdom of Heaven is on the coffee table and your response of "Because ZEAL" leads an explanation of ETL 2014 and that tabletop wargaming miniatures should NOT be referred to as "figurines."

"THEY ARE NOT TOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

They are acurately modelled representations of the finest creations of the greatest being that has  ever lived.   :woot:  :woot:   Oh yes they are!!!!!!!

You know you're a Templar when you know your enemy...

Depending on my mood and who I am explaining it to, they are:

A vessel for my artistic creativity, as I am a deep and thoughtful person who seeks a brooding expression for his inner turmoil. ;)

Components in an intellectually stimulating exercise in strategic planning, logical process and statistical analysis.

Complicated chess pieces.

War-dollies.

The Emperor's Will made flesh, to bring his burning judgement on the enemies of Mankind.

:D

WITCHES............BURN THEM.

Sorry, I had a sudden explosion of Zeal, I'm okay now. It might be because I am only 36 hours away from getting on a plane Stormraven back to the UK my Chapter Keep where my ETL III Vow and my copy of Templar await me. Oh, and the Deamonette, Succubi and Chaos Warp Spawn Wife and beautiful kids.  :tongue.:

You know you're a Templar when...

you tell everyone that your Marshal (or Chaplain or Emperor's Champion) is not just a Warhammer 40k figure, not just a toy, not just some plastic/resin/metal blob and will definitely not have any other model of the exact same paint scheme, same design and same weaponry... for you tell everyone that this is your physical representation on the battlefield (or tabletop :p), you applaud every witch your main HQ model has killed, rejoiced in every Challenge he has succeeded in, embraced in the glory and victory of your Crusade, and felt the pain of every defeat your model has suffered...

You know you're a Templar when...

You stopped thinking your Marshal is just a model... he is you on the tabletop... incarnate...

Here's mine:

When you're reposing one of your Initiates because apparently Sanguinary Guard were just an exercise wherein GW tried to sculpt cool ornate weapons being wielded in the most awkward facockamamie poses possible and you slice the pad of your thumb open with an exacto knife and while spending several minutes trying to get the bleeding under control because you need to finish building your Neophytes because the ETL waits for no man you realize that our Templar blood is red because it is liquid ZEAL.

Marshall Roujakis, you look amazing, I wish I could go to work looking like that. I at the moment look like this.

...when you teach your 6 year old daughter how to play/control close combat first and tell her shooting comes later in the PS3 space marine game.

I quote myself from this morning....

"never mind shooting, charge them and press the square button"
