I would have liked to see 2 Death Company boxes over 1 and an assault. But So be it. The storm raven's cost isnt surprising but still depressing. But considering I already have a librarian dread, 1 Furioso, 1 DC dread and 1 shooty dread that don't see play (and 3 of them are still WIP for paint) I'll probably pass on adding yet another dread to my collection. I've never liked the battleforces but i suppose to get a new player into the game the provide a flexible start to the hobby. The dreads are just full of win. It just means I have till the 5th Feb to clear my backlog of models and stock up on supplies ready for the undertaking that is my stormraven (and Libby dread). Terrahawk Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 Loving the Dread kit! :) I was planning on assembling a standard Furioso with Blood Talons for starters, but the DC Dread is looking so badass that I might end up using one of those bad boys instead. That means my DC are going to continue getting some proper play time. Oh well. B) The Raven is also looking pretty nice - not completely mind-blowing like the Dread - but pretty cool in it's own right. I'm sure I'll be getting one eventually for my DC + Chaplain + DC Dread in black coupled with red crosses. Can't wait to see the heretics crapping their pants. I'll be returning my unopened warhammer tower and paying the £1 difference for a stormraven. Turn the Tac squad into a full Dev squad (probably use 3 HK missiles to kit them out), and get some bits to turn the Rhino into a Razorback. Combine the Assault squad with the DC box to make a full 10 man RAS, and you're set. The Raven has grown on me. I'm finally hearing the howl of the turbines as they come into an LZ.
